Sometimes Strange Sound When Pushing Accelerator

Hi, mb someone knows that's the problem?

When I drive, after about 15minutes(mb more) sometimes i hear the strange sound when pushing accelerator,

the sound is coming from the left side, but it heard only inside the car.

PS. Sounds like rattling, but not loud.

Hi mate.

I had the same sound from my old engine it turned out to be the springs on the throttle body.

Open the bonnet and rev the engine by turning the wheel on the body and see if the springs rattle around.

not sure his explaination but when you turn the wheels while stopped the engine will slightly rev but dont know if this happens on all cars

The cable that goes from the accelerator pedal to the throttle body is in a plastic/rubber sleeve and goes around the back of the engine. Follow that to the back of the engine at the top. Thats the throttle body. Where this ends and wraps around the "D" shaped part, thats what you want to twist.

Correction. its not at the back of the engine, its on the right hand side of the engine. ( i was getting mixed up with my mrs golf.)
