Lexus Is220D Boot Doesn't Open

Hello guys, today i have tried to open my lexus boot and it wouldn't open with the key (remote) or via a button inside the car on the panel, the only way i can open it, is by using the key blade and using the lock on the boot to open it manually. I'd be very thankfull if someone knows how to fix this problem.

The boot valet switch would be my first guess. Check out the following video. I don't know if the is220d has this or not.

And thanks from me - couldn't fathom why the boot wouldn't open by either of the normal methods - had I experienced my first problem after a ear of ownership ? Will I have to pay the whopping Lexus labour costs ??
