2024 sat nav vs 2021 sat nav

Recommended Posts

I have just traded in my 2021 ES 300h F sport for a brand new 2024 model F sport. On the old car when I input a destination I could search for POI's near destination, such as car parks, the new system doesn't seem to offer this, I consider this a major downgrade, does anyone know how to search for car parks near a chosen destination?

Accessible via voice search perhaps? Not terribly helpful suggestion but remis of me not to say..... considered using carplay/android auto ?

I can use carplay but I only have a small data plan (5GB) and am worried about burning through it too quickly, I rely on satnav for work and use it daily, so was hoping to utilise the inbuilt sat nav

You can set Google maps or apple maps to download a set map while your at home on WiFi, then when out and about it won't use any data. Not ideal but get you the functionality your after?

I use Waze for all my journeys and haven't noticed any massive data use.
