Non Standard Stereo Connector?

 Share

Recommended Posts

Evening all

Bought an IS200 about a month ago, love it

Attempted to change the stereo at the weekend but the connector is completely different to the adapter lead I bought. It's a non-amp system but I double checked with the amp bypass lead and that looks completely different as well

Car is a 2000 SE auto. I had a look in Halfords and all the leads they had didn't look like they would fit either.

Here's a pic, anyone else had any issues?

Cheers

The se model does have an amp thats behind the glove box!

The cable you need is an amp by pass lead (£30 ish ebay) the lead fits at the amp end not the stereo end that your pictured shows.

There's a few walk throughs on here to help you fit an after market stereo in your is.
