when it comes to parts like coils, spark plugs, ignition leads, clutch, water pumps its best to go genuine Lexus parts things like oil and brake pads/discs can be aftermartket. Toyota/Lexus parts are engineered to last longer and perform better.

Probably a cheap copy made with substandard materials, I guess you are returning it for a full refund?

I would buy a genuine one but also check the plug as if it is damaged or incorrectly gapped it could take out the new coil pack.

Also don't overtighten the securing bolt.

I heard before that it is recommended to replace all the coils and plugs together as a set but that's a costly option when there's 6 of each!
