Hi all,

On way to work today I had travelled about 6 miles and many roundabouts was just going round the last one before work and this noise started that sounded like the exhaust had come loose and was dragging on the floor, pulled over and looked under car ..... Nothing!!!!!, carried on noise stopped, parked up left work drove home still no noise whatever the speed, weird !!!! Any clues anyone , wheel bearing perhaps ?

Many years ago I had a Humber and the same experience. I was convinced I was dragging a cardboard box along under the car. Turned out to be no oil in gearbox. Hope not the same for you

Sounded and felt a bit crunchy this morning, jacked up one wheel at a time and found play in drivers side rear with hands at 12 and 6 o'clock when pushin and pullin on wheel so guessing that bearings shot , booked in to be replaced Friday
