2Gs 10" Rear Rims Not Possible

Looking at all the offset calculators its not possible to fit 10" rims without rolling the arches or having really high offsets which don't exist so I'm not sure where the staggered wheel suppliers get their info from and no one on here knows what will fit anyway

Do the 10" Series 1 GS300 Sport wheels with the deep dish not fit the Series 2 also?

10" wheels will fit on the back of the GS2

According to the calculators they won't clear the arch unless the offset is really high, then you start to lose inside space between wheel rim and suspension stuff .........

When I traded my Series 1, which had the 10" rears with 275/35/18 tyres fitted I made the mistake of leaving them on the car as I didn't realise they would fit my GS430SE. I was told a couple of months later, by a Lexus parts/service advisor that they would have fitted.

No idea but Rick (Tigerfish) would possibly know if you PM him.

Probably easier to obtain the rocking horse poo to be honest but they look really good. It does however show that the car is capable of accepting 10" rear without modifying the bodywork.

Cheers for that Dave ...... Just wondering how accurate these offset calculators are ..... Looking at the standard wheels with an offset of 50 and how close they are it doesn't give much room to come outwards and the offsets needed in the calculator to achieve this take so much from the inside it just looks like it wont fit ..... Unless I'm missing something fundamental

Found some info pointing to the 300 sport offset on the 10" is 42mm ..... According to the calculator I'm using this makes them stick out a further 33mm !!!!! My standard 8" wheels are already close

The handling with the wide rears suffers badly. Tend to "tramline", particularly on motorway inside lane (which wouldn't bother the mindless morons who only use the other 2 lanes). Also much more prone to aquaplaning and poor in snow......not forgetting the cost of tyres. I ran my Series 1 GS with them on rear for 6 years, 60+k miles and find the 245/40/18 on my GS430 are far better in all respects.

I must admit I hadn't thought about that, good point ESP as its my daily driver, thinking back to my Soarer that had 265/18 on the rear and that was a real handful in the wet and impossible in the snow,.

So......... Upto 19" and keep standard rim size or 18" and coilovers ?????
