Hello. New to the site, just bought my first is200 yesterday.. Unfortunately on the way home it started to overheat :megaangry:

Now its 99 model in mint condition, one owner, full lex history, 100k on the clock timing belt and water pump changed at 75k, oil is clean and bang on the mark, coolant is clean bang on the mark, no mayo under the caps, no smoke out the back, not loosing any coolant or oil, no visible leaks...

So, put the heater on when I noticed the temp rising and it went back down to just under the half way mark for the rest of the 100 mile journey..

Any ideas? Owner said she hadnt driven it for six months since she bought her new car.. Seized thermostat? Air lock? HG? :eerrrmm: Car drives like new..
