Jdm Celsior Vs Uk Ls4 Lights

Recommended Posts

ok. some jdm vs uk questions.

.

are jdm celsior headlamp units a direct fitment to the uk ls4 car:ie are all mounting brackets the same?

will my hid's i have fitted in my UK Ls4 headlamps and fogs fit in the JDM celsior head lamps?

ive come across issues before with uk spec n jdm spec bulbs being different on uk 300zx and import 300zx and also on the gto's, the jdm head light bulbs are different

also i know the rear jdm centre section lamps are longer than the uk jobbies, are they a direct fitment?

ie:boot lock,reg plate illumination?

i like the look of the cleaner lines of the jdm headlamps and also the longer rears..

id like to know before i part with my money as i dont want to have to buy a 2 new sets of hids :)

Yes JDM single piece headlights are a straight fit and yes the HID kits/bulbs will swop over.

However if you have the headlight level adjustment control fitted ( I think it is on the mirror adjustment panel) it won't work anymore as the JDM units don't have the feature.

JDM inner light clusters do not fit, the boot lock is in a different place.

Also the JDM clusters have 3 taillights/stoplights per side where the UK Spec models have just 1 so the wiring looms are also needed.
