Cam Belt Is 200

I would advise any1 buying an is 200 between a 1999 and 2003 to make sure the cam belts been done as I checked mine 3 days ago after driving it for 3 weeks and it was bout 8 mil wide if that the tensioner had worn and the belt was wearing away where it was rubbing on the cover bit annoyed really only got it couple weeks back with full service history most of which was lexus and its obviously never been changed

hence i booked mine in to be done by Lexus the same day i bought the car i literally drove straight to Lexus to have it done...mine came with full history aswell but wasnt taking any chances or gambles. you got lucky to have checked it in time...

Snap. First thing it did. Mine was on 87k no belt change. Why it wasnt done on the 60k service i dont know as it was done by Lexus! I booked it straight in the next morning, only £50 more than an independent plus I got a newspaper and as much free coffee as I wanted lol :)
