Hello and welcome to the LOC.

Your IS has OBDII diagnostics and the Engine Management Light is telling you there is a problem so you need to get the fault code(s) read by a code reader.

Any decent garage will be able to do this for a small charge or for around £50.00 you can buy one and do the job yourself.

To protect the engine when a fault is present the car will go into Limp Home Mode so that could be the reason for the lack of power.

Once you have the code(s) come back with them and we will try and help further.

Hi as Steve2006 said get it fault code read first they might just need to clear the codes as the vehicle has been standing for a while and the Battery may have been flat and this can bring up fault codes on its own. The garage will normally clear them first then ask you to drive the car and see what fault codes come back on and then there is plenty of members on here to help you but they need to know the codes first good luck
