hi everyone , i would buy a lexus but the car have one problem : engine cuts out when reverse gear is selected , any idea ???? thx 4 answer

Possibly Loose engine mount combined with a split intake... loose engine mount can stress the intake and split it. So when in reverse the engine lifts and opens a gap in the intake. This lets in too much air and stalls.

Best way is to get someone to sit in the car, engage reverse and see if the engine moves about.

This happened to me once.. so maybe a possibility. £100 to fix
