Cold Draught From Window Control Panel

Evening all, I was driving home today and felt a very cold draught coming from the window control panel on the drivers door, it is the first time I have ever noticed this since having the car (over a year) is it the norm ? I checked the window was fully closed and the grommets but they all seem in place, any ideas ?

I have noticed a draft from the window switch area but only if my window is slightly open. Air must some how track down. Mine is draft free once the window is shut properly.

If your sure your window is shut tight then might be worth checking the door seals for any squashed areas of rubber seal or any torn or ripped bits. Like water, air can track back through from unusual places and not necessarily where you'd expect.
