Does anybody know how the gear shift gaiter fits? Mine has come loose and efforts by several people manage to get it apparently clipped back in but as soon as the lever is moved it comes back out again - there don't appear to be any clips to hold it in place

Any suggestions gladly welcomed

Thanks for the information the complete housing was replaced by the dealer shortly after I bought the car 2 years ago so you wouldn't expect it to fail again, the (perhaps short term ) answer appears to be to superglue the gaiter to its surround and hopefully save £60. A very poor piece of design it would seem but thanks again
