Side Lights And Fog Lights

I'm sure this has all been discussed before, but I have searched here and tried some US forums and can't quite work it out.

The yellow bulbs on my IS-F bug me in the side lights and fogs. Has anyone done a straight bulb swap with white ones to match?

How easy was it to swap the bulb

And which ones should I buy?

I see a lot of LED ones on eBay, do these do the job?

Philips Xtreme 4000k or Osram 4000k will be a good match for the sidelights. The eBay ones are usually too blue and scream aftermarket. LED bulbs are not recommended for fog lights. Either HID or something like Osram Night breakers.

So I am right in thinking the sidelights on the F are LEDs as standard and the Fogs are normal bulbs, so I just have to get bright white versions of them 4000k or something for the fogs, for example the nightbreakers.

I don't think the sidelights on the F are LEDS as standard. They should be a standard W5W/501 halogen bulb which can be replaced with a 501 LED bulb. The bulb in the fog light seems to be a standard H11 which can be replaced by something like the Philips Diamond Vision or Osram Nightbreakers. A H11R HID kit is an option too if you want a lot of foreground light.

Is it easy to change the side light bulbs or is it a pain, has anyone done it ,I agree they are yellow .
