Swap Rx400H For A Ct200?

Recommended Posts

I have been driving a CT200h courtesy car while my Rx400h is being looked at. I have driven it around central London, on motorways M25 M3 slopes etc I got 50mpg without trying.

I am just curious to know who would swap their RX400h for a CT200h straight swap for a used CT of similar market value.

Why would you? They're totally different cars. Yes they're both hybrids made by Lexus but that's it. One's an SUV with decent load space comfortably seating four adults the other's a small car with limited loading capacity.

Indeed having having had a CT last week as a courtesy car which my RX was having some minor body repairs, I can say that this was the first Lexus that I have driven and not liked. They are as it says on the box 'compact'. Doubtless well-built and engineered they cannot be seen as a substitute for an RX.
