Mechanic Recommendation

Hi all,

So I'm looking for a decent, reliable but not a break-the-bank mechanic (if that exists) in Hertfordshire more specifically in and around Hemel Hempstead. I'm willing to go to the next town up as well.

I can't afford to do trial and error and would rather go by on word of mouth.

Its not a million miles from you, but I've found a great guy in Aylesbury, specializing in Toyota, Porsche Aston Martin, -Owner is ex-Lexus mechanic, friendly, not the cheapest, but not the dearest either, he did my Ls400's cam belt recently, -not a job I'd entrust to any old mechanic, he also performed a major service at the same time, top man, -I could send you his details if you want.

Thanks for that, but it is a little bit far out.

I saw some Lexus dealerships in the general maintenance section so might give them a call.
