Does anyone else agree with me in saying that the first series of Spooks was much better. Series 2 was just a bit too James Bond like.

I actually didn't see the first series but the second I'm in love with. Brilliant ending yesterday.... :D

Sorry, I have it on Sky+, but I don't have a VCR.

I think both series of the show are excellent. Perhaps, I enjoyed the second series more.

Intrigue, gadgets, fit women and regular Lexus appearances! What more do you want from a show??? :D

The show certainly kept me guessing last night, though a series ending cliffhanger was inevitable. Not sure where all the relationships are going to go with the next series though... A return to 'normal' self-contained episodes will require some unravelling first.

I can't believe that they had any advisors from the Security Service because the constant lapses in good trade-craft are too unbelieveable.

As for the episodes where they were supposed to be tapping into copper wires in the ducts to restablish comms and the one where they got hacked from their website !!!! I have a hard time believing that a) there is any copper used for comms (fiber is nearly impossible to tap) in Thames House and B) that MI5 host their website in the same place as their secure remote access facility .

Having said all that I still tune in every week, so they must be doing something right.
