New 2012 Bumper

Hi,

Just purchased a rx450h 2010, but fallen in love with the newer 2012 bumper. Does anyone know if this will fit the 2010 shape? Iv asked the dealer and they said they have no way of knowing if it does. Can anybody help? I also cant seem to find an specialists who deal with facelifts like some other car manufacturers have such as R/R. Thanks

Hello and welcome to the LOC.

The 2012 model is that new my database does not even list the year and the 2011 has no prices for the bumper covers but from other models you would be looking at several 1000's for the newer replacements as they generally come primed then need the paint job.

By the time you are done with labour charges for fitting part exchanging your could be more viable and of course this all depends on if they fit and if the dealer doesn't know for sure that's a heavy risk to invest money into.

Companies such as RR and Bentley will design a car to a customer's own specification including I imagine one off bumpers but be realistic they also charge a fortune well above even Lexus prices. :D
