E-Brake Light On Constantly - Help!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys

So my e-brake light on the dash is constantly on. I've changed my brake pads about a month ago, and also bled the brake system and topped up the brake fluid. This ran fine with no problems until last Saturday when the e-brake light came on and wouldnt go off. The car seems to be running fine and when i brake it doesnt drag to one side as i wouldve anticipated.

Does anyone know what this could be? Im assuming it may be my brake discs? as theres a bit of lip on my front ones. Does this mean i need new ones? or could it be something else?

Thanks guys.

Gee

I think the light warning one in the cluster is for the tail lamp, rather than the brake lights, hence why the parking brake light one stays on instead for the brakes

I've had all 3 brake bulbs go at different points and it still didn't come on, always just the handbrake light
