I installed this myself in a few minutes and it sounds absolutely amazing in my opinion. Highly recommended. I decided to just mount the box in the glovebox rather than trying to hide behind stereo or under centre console. Didn't need to drill a single hole or cut anything and easy to access to charge Iphone or if firmware update required.

Totally agree, been using one for 6 years now, and the mechanics in the cassette deck well engineered, so should go for ever.

Only slight problem is when having a kip in the car (while stationary I might add) and all is dead quiet you can just make out the slight noise coming from the adapter whirring about.

One day I might get around to seeing if I can cure that, but life is too short for such worries

This looks much better than the official Lexus iPod integration kit.
