Car Wash Problems

I recently opted for a full car wash including wheel scrub at my local Sainsbury's garage. When I got home,I thought that there was some dirt not cleaned off properly around the drivers door, wheel arch and bumper. When I tried to clean it off, I couldn't get rid of it. I believe that the damage was caused by a misaligned car wash/wheel scrub brush, and that some Hydrofluoric acid generally used in this sprayed onto the paintwork.

1. Does anyone else have any experience of this?

2. Tips on how to get my paintwork back to it's beautiful self?

Ideas appreciated, thanks.

I'd go back to sainsburys n show them the damage..

Who knows they might hold their hands up n pay out for a new paint job on the ruined panels.

Do you have any proof of purchase?

I've done this already by taking it in asap and getting the manager to photograph it. He has forwarded this to their insurance company, but I have not yet heard back. I also took him my proof of purchase.

Hydrofluoric acid, isn't that the stuff that eats through glass?

My Google search told me consistently that this is what is used to clean off brake dust in wheel scrubbing.
