Changing Rear Muffler

Can anyone help me if the rear muffler is changed to a free flow sport type, are there any gains in performance, noise etc.

Can you actually hear the motor running from the rear, I've never heard an IS with sport muffler.

Nice of you to pop over from OZ!

Generally, you can here the exhaust a little more inside the vehicle, but it depends on what type you go for. Gains are any where between 10 and 20bhp but with a performance air filter or panel filter, maybe a little more. I have found THIS THREAD for you which gives you the different types of back boxes available.

Heyz geoff,

I would recommend the HKS hiper or the HKS DraggerII for the most power gain out of the exhaust.
