Alarm Whistle

Hi guys

New to the forum

I have a 1999 ls400 dhp.

Every time I lock the car I get a whistle out from the engine bay not loud but annoying and continuous until I remove Battery lead and replace it

Has any one had this problem before can anyone help please

previously owners have had similar problem when the sunroof has not been fully closed - although in that case the warning is from inside the cabin - just to rule it out I would ensure all doors and windows are closed and open and close the sunroof and make sure its fully home.

if that doesn't cure I would try to pinpoint where exactly in the engine bay the sound is coming from and take it from there.

I've had a fanny about under the bonnet.

Couldn't find exactly where it's coming from but it's off side behind headlight area..

I've pulled a 7.5 fuse marked OBD can anyone let me know what I've stopped working please and what does OBD mean???

Is there a reset button for it or a fix or is it an expensive trip to a Lexus shop to have them do it ???
