Light Fitments

Hi guys I'm looking to change the bulbs on my 2006 220d but don't know what fitments they are (H4 etc) and was wondering if anyone knew. I'm looking at getting either Xenon bulbs or an HID kit, what do you guys suggest? Also how do I gain access to the lights? Had a look and it seems very tight! Thanks, Jordan.

Think you have H11 and HB3 if I recall correctly.

my 07 IS220d had D4S bulbs

Indeed, there are various specs available. Some are HID some are Halogen's. My 220d had H11 and HB3 halogens (and they were rubbish) at illuminating the road ahead.

The only way to be sure is to have a look.

I had a go today, changed the side lights to LEDs and the car is hid, I agree normski! The standard HIDs are garbage, I want to update them to about 8k, and good kit advice? Thanks
