is it possible to install a sd card reader to the auxiliary of the cd system?

I use a transmitter and have it contacted in the centre arm rest 12 v It plays my SD card MP3s through the FM radio and I tune it in to No 5 button. Perfect reception and easy to control. It costs about £15 from amazon. Last trip I put it in the Cig lighter socket and my daughter controlled all the music from the back seat with the remote control that came with the transmitter. I really don't see why I need to fart about with the best music system ever to provide another way to play MP£ tracks.

you ideally want a self contained unit that will output analogue stereo that you can feed into your aux-in. Similar to the unit that alphacat has but with a high quality output rather than an FM transmitter which IMO doesn't provide a good sound quality, mainly because the radio on the OEM stereo isn't that great - you would have to have some ropy low bitrate MP3s for the sound not to be degraded by the FM link.

i have just bought a 2003 (53) sc430 where can i get an up to date nav disc?
