Afl And Front Fog Lamp

Hi all,

I have recently bought a GS450h fsport 2012(new model).

There is AFL off sign in my dash which is always on and I can't find it's switch. I have checked user manual, but there is no any switch where it must be.

I called a lexus dealer and they said when the sign is on, then the car is equipped with AFL, however they couldn't guide me to find the switch better than manual.

Does anybody know how to turn it on and where is the switch?

Also, I think f sport model has LED from fog lamp, but again I can't find it's switch as there is only rear fog lamp selector on lights lever.

Hi Matin, dont know if this is any good but if you google afs lexus it comes up with the switch on another model might be similar

The AFS switch is below the steering wheel next to the tire pressure reset switch.

The fog light switch should control both the front and rear lights - first setting is front only, second setting is front and rear.

I know it must be beside tire pressure switch but the problem is I can't find it as well. There is noting below my steering wheel.

And about fog light, your comment make sense as I have had an is 220 before and it was same but again there is jut one turn on the control knob for rear fog light.

I think I have to pop in a lexus dealer on my way some day and ask them if they don't want to charge me😃

sorry I missed the F Sport bit - I didn't think they had front fog lights.

The AFS / tyre pressure switches should be there, they are quite a way down and recessed in - level with the bonnet release just slightly to the left of the steering wheel rather than to the right.
