Hi, 1st post for me, for all you guys have helped me fix loads of things. Thank you

1st question, u have a sticky egr valvue (dropping "out of range") putting the car into limp mode.

I have read you can blank off or bypass the valVue, has any one done this? Which is best to and won't cause the ecu to have a hissy fit.

Also does it actually improve the mpg & pickup of the car?

I've never heard of one being done on a diesel engine, I read somewhere it can result in damge to the turbocharger with higher exhaust temperatures.

It has been done on the early LS400 engine, electrically it will need resistors to trick the ECU and prevent the EML coming on.
