Lexus Warranty

My car was in for some warranty work this week and they didnt finnish the job so i have to book it in again.

I have been told that the work must be completed before the warranty ends (VERY SOON) or i may have to pay.

I got told by someone else that as the fault has been logged before the end of the warranty that this doesnt matter.

Both the above came from Lexus GB!

Anyone have a better answer

No, as long as the fault was booked before the warranty runs out, thats fine.

I know this coz i had a door rubber which was corroded and i booked it in a.s.a.p

as i knew the warranty was up soon,but they could'nt get the part for a week or so

but when it was fixed after the warranty ran out but i was told that as it was booked in

before and as they knew it had run out there woukd be NO charge.

Will go with the above,if the snag has been notified within the Warranty period then it is a good call. If it has been sanctioned by Lexus GB then even better.
