  1. We have a Skoda fabia VRS too, 130 bhp diesel,229 lb/ ft TQ and 50mpg, it is an excellent piece of kit. Gone are the days of too much ridicule !!
  2. And a set for an IS300 Sportcross please,thanks
  3. Was told when I bought the vehicle that none were available for it! Does anybody know anything different please? Also availability? Many thanks
  4. Had mine for over a year now, over the moon with it. P/X'd a 200SE, recently had the 200 Sportcross whilst our 300 had some Warranty work and was suitably impressed by that too(minus all the dangly bits!!)
  5. Why don't you see white dog poo any more? (Not that I miss it tho'!!)
  6. Same as,Wifey has suggested keeping the nozzle as low down as possible, seems to work for me,will try it at the fuel station too next time!
  7. Chaps(and Chapesses) I need to remove my front grille, the 'L' badge is loose!! Any tips so I don't snap anything would be gratefully received, thanks, mac
  8. Raining Datsun Cogs,generally pants
  9. Will go with the above,if the snag has been notified within the Warranty period then it is a good call. If it has been sanctioned by Lexus GB then even better.
  10. Fair play mate, who is your local dealer? (We know of a few good ones!!)
  11. I voted(cunningly enough only once!) and what an excellent effort by all contributors,I feel we should name & shame the culprits, don't penalise all the superb efforts, nullify the present poll and vote again, monitoring the results. ( Not,I hasten to add, that we should have to) A calander by the club for the club has to be bigger than a few wayward individuals(in my opinion)
  12. Many thanks for that, see you there!
  13. Just a quick note to thank 'Fidgits' for taking the time to organise the meet, for the short time I was 'on plot' (with rug-rats whos' car threshold leaves room for improvement!!) it was nice to meet you all, here's to the next one!!!!!!
  14. Me too, complete with rug-rats!! (but a trip to Oasis has been promised!!!--bribery!)
  15. Many thanks to all,Reading are looking into my lack of compound, I am awaiting a call back, this could prove interesting across the board, I know Yokohama's are a soft compound----BUT!!! I have driven performance cars professionally and would expect far more life out of a tyre!! (Especially a set of fronts!!!!!!) Will keep you updated, thanks again
  16. Hi,excellent quotes, suppose living anywhere other than Reading does have advantages!!!!!!!!!!(bloody surprise----------------not!!!!) As a last ditch attempt try Lexus' own Insurance, let them know what they have to beat, played a blinder for me 0800 1383200 :)
  17. The old girl has now covered nearly a whole 8000 miles and,I know you will struggle to believe this, but the inside edges on the fronts are down to 2mm.I am going to pursue this with Reading when I get a nano-second,but has anybody had any dealings with other Dealers regarding this issue? I find it quite unacceptable at this mileage knowing how the vehicle has been driven and nurtured!!
  18. Has anyone used the Meguires products to remove swirls? Please let me know the outcome and any recommendations please,as always---thanks :)
  19. Many congratulations, where and when do we celebrate!!!!!!!!!! :)
  20. Ah yes, there it is -----------napalm anybody?
  21. Yet again I have to praise Mark and his staff at Reading for their superb level of service quality. The 'old girl' had some warranty work booked and when I picked up the car it again was immaculate(didn't stop it raining tho'!!!) and the work had all been carried out as promised. Once again a big thankyou. :D
  22. I had a similar problem with my 300,took it in to Reading where they reprogrammed the ECU since then no worries
  23. Hope you have a good one :D
