Does anyone have a spare drivers side headlamp unit that they are willing to part with.

I need to replace mine as it has some stone chip damage which I have been advised is an MOT fail item.

I am also advised that to replace a headlamp the front bumper has to come off. Is this correct?

Thanks

Hi Keith,

Dont have a spare but as far as the fitting, you don't need to remove the bumper but you will need to loosen the corner in order to lift and remove the unit. In the arch's, under the cover, there are 2 screws just behind the indicator unit, remove these and then remove the 3 screws in front between the lights. You'll then be able to pull the bumper clear of the mountings by the indicator unit, this will give you room to remove the light unit out once you have removed the fixings.

Paul
