Didn't fancy trying to learn drifting in the IS :winky: So picked this up last w/e....

Although with 9" wide wheels on the back, may cost me a few pennies in rubber!!

Sorry to be a little but I was looking at the pictures of your Lexus and noticed that you used to have the black/silver plates fitted - were you told to remove them? I was considering them some time back but wasn't sure if they were legal or not. Other than claiming to be from the Isle of Man and slapping a badge on the plate I didn't know if there was a way around it :D

Yes I was asked to take them off and get an MOT place to verify that the legal plates were back on. Was going to put them back on but never got round to it.

So yes they are illegal, but most people get away with a warning, some get an on the spot fine of £30. I gues if you're very unluck and get pulled by the same copper twice, then heads may roll LOL

I haveto say with that kit it does look a bit like the RX7, the standard MX5's suffer from a weak chin IMHO LOL
