Found this on US LOC. Handy video showing how to overide the safety features of nav and phone to allow use during driving (by a passenger of course! :) )

You need to sit through 2 * 30 second ads first and then the video kicks in.

Haven't checked it yet but it looks easy enough to do.

Will be handy if you can enter a previous destination on the move.

Tried it but didnt get the overide screen - any thoughts ??

Yes. This doesn't work on the newer software european software.

Doesn't work on my GS430 (05) either

Although I found a hidden menu for the Hands free Phone setup.

Don't think it's currently available for the second generation IS's though
