  1. Hi Guys, I'm a new Lexus owner and after driving a LS400 around 5 years ago I could not shake the Lexus bug. So I decided the other day to spend some of my hard earn money on a 2005 Lexus LS430 it has full Lexus S/H and after a AA inspection it apart from a few chips in the paint work it is great!!!! But the power tilt / telescopic steering wheel doesn't work properly. I have looked on youtube and read through so many forums and threads my eyes have gone crossed. I called Lexus and they have quoted me around £800 to fix it. I have called around 15 breakers yards and none have parts. I have found a site that will send it from japan but will take around a month to get to me and then I have got to pay customs and handling fee's there must be an easier way!!!! So if anyone can help I would be ever grateful. Many thanks.

  3. ahhhh right. I wouldn't bother, you'll just end up with 4 inner worn tyres instead of 2

  4. Hi back from Wales Hew has gone as well as Leon. I had a long discussion with Andrez (Anndrew) He has appointed a new member of staff to deal with the office side of things if he isn't available to answer the phone. Chesterfield is up & running with a top installer present & it looks like its going to expand in the not too distant future. The quality of the work I saw this weekend was up to their usual high standards & with Hew gone (nice bloke but not really cut out for the office role) there should be no more mix ups. PS You couldn't wish to meet a more honest bloke than Andrez.

  5. IF the cops at least put warning signs up that might have the affect of causing other motorists to think twice before parking AND more importantly the scumbags think twice before damaging vehicles. They'll think everyone is looking out for them & even someone who knows who they are might come forward & shop them
