  2. Hello everyone, I'm a newbie from the North East. Always wanted to own a Lexus IS200 and after a long and patient wait, I eventually managed to get my hands on a gem of a car. Picked up a 2001 model in black with 83000 miles, which has been cared for very well by previous owners. Interior is outstanding and even the original mats are in good condition, obviously been washed regularly. Only work I have done so far is cleaning, polishing and refurbished the calipers as they were in a sorry state. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Lexus OC mobile app

While this forum is, obviously, not the correct place to discuss where or how to acquire pirate copies of Toyota's intellectual property, there is nothing whatsoever in the latest firmware which prevents the use of "burnt discs". It is also trivially easy to re-install previous versions of the firmware.

This is my first post on this forum, i am getting a new head unit for christmas (sony xav 601bt Double din) i have got a is200 se and have the factory fitted amp, can someone confirm all the bits i need to fit the new unit. am i right in saying i just need a amp by-pass lead PC2-105-4 ?? will this plug straight in to the new head unit or will i need another iso adapter to plug into the by-pass lead. here are a few pictures of my car
