  1. how about selecting some trusted members from TOC to get together committee style and vote, could be done discreetly and without bias. Could even be done without the LOC memebrs being told who and how till after the vote ?

  6. I'm 5 mins away from the site and visited this years although small and had the roof all day and beers in the garden this evening.... Its a small show this year, I'm thinking of getting the other freindly clubs together and having a great weekend, can you imagine great cars, beer, bbq's and funfair rides in the same place....
  7. OK Well as it's 100% free I guess all I need to do is book the slot and get in the touch, would be a good idea if we can start getting the word around the other clubs but if its free why not get everyone togther for a bash :D

  10. I'm down in Cardiff this weekend visiting family and my nieces wanted to go the fair which happens to be by a 4x4 show which also has some harleys, and other brands of car. The show runs for a weekend in mid september and though that if we contacted other car clubs we could have a end of season camp out (mini JAE) and show. The camping would be free as would the entrance for show cars. In fact all cars attending on stand would receive something from the organisers as a thankyou and all you would have to pay for is your food and beer ? The site is just outside Cardiff Centre and the fields are open from the Wednesday. Does anyone like the sound of this ??? Im thinking we could get in touch with car clubs that our friends are in and get a really good turnout :Da
  11. sounds like a mad night out, would all need tux's and cigars...

  20. would not be surprised if there was a Pets At Home near you, website is HERE. Most stores have a vetinary service as well as a full supply of toys, food extra's etc (mod your dog), maybe we should ask Ken to try for TOC/LOC Gold discount :D :D :D I've always found them competitively priced and it's great to be able to take your dog into the store, he can pick his own toys/treats then as well..... He'should even get a free goodie at the check out !!
  21. if it isn't going to sleep in the bedroom on a perm basis I really wouldnt have it in the bedroom at all, once it is used to the creature comforts it will whine to get back in, best bet is to let the pup sleep where it will permanently sleep.... It'll cry like a baby or a few nights but the worst thing you can do is give into it, have you hany kids ?Always after attention :) Be strict from the start (not easy with a puppy) and it will become a great puppy, spoil it from the start and it'll be a mare as it will rule the roost. It was always the hardest thng for me as I'm daft as a brush when it comes to puppies but i know what they turn out lie if you poi them. I always found the hardest part training the girlfriend not the dog as soon as the puppy entered the house.
  22. Isn't that an overgornw rat :D :D :D Seriously though pup's are more work than most people ecpect if it's your first one although pedigree'sd tend to be less work thorugh experience (dalamtians and huskys from pups). Get ready for some sleepless nights unless you'll allow him/het to sleep in the same room (mine always slept on our bed) and make sure you get him chipped once the final jabs have been had (not a requirement but piece of mind). Passport for pets is excellent if you go to france/europe so you can travel witht them if need be although timing is very strict on the shots...... Personally always found Iam's the best dry food, not the cheapest but less mess and healthier pup so better all round....
  23. I agree entirely that these people were murdered, I think I said that when I said... I also understand that people from arounf the globe were effected by this tragedy, I also know people who died in the towers, what annoys me is the number of emails, forum posts (not here) that I have had today from mainly Americans expecting everyone around the globe to pay respect to the americans that gave there lives... It wasn't just Us citizens that were murdered. An awful event occured 2 years ago on this day (oops yesterday), it was also this week that the father of the H-Bomb died, ok not quite the same subject. As for terrorism, with no proof of WMD was the recent Gulf episdoe a terrorist act, it was defiantely against international law but hey the US/UK are major powers, lets let that one slide shall we.... I'll say again, to all those who lost loved ones, family, parents and friends during the atrocites of 9/11 my thoughts are with you but lets remember there is more going on in the world and attrociities happen every day. Shall I remember my friends actions after the Bali bombing as she helped coutnless people while she was on holiday as a trained nurse, maybe... .Will the world, I doubt it... Oh and the reason I thought may be moderated is it is a sore subject and not many people seem to share my views. I know personal views are allowed on this forum but its not often that personal/emotional and political views come up....
