  1. What type of pup are you getting ? How old etc. each pup requires different things... Photo's definately required here... Battersea is a good place but hardly west London. Pets at home in wales and south england are good but dont know about your area, try find a small local store with staff who actually care about animals and you should be fine...
  2. I'm sorry guy's but I think anopther opinion needs to be aired (here come the moderators)... While September the 11th was an atrocious act of terrorism which will never be forgotten it was just that an act of terrorism where a large number of people died. Thoughts and condolences go without saying to those people, families, loved ones and children but how long must we give a momnets silence, do we remember the millions who innocently died from natural disasters remembering the earthquakes in turkey and floods in mozambique recently not to mention the numerous others. A major power who believe themselves to be untouchable had a wake up call and as usual it was the innocent people who make the country what is were forced to give there lives with no choice and no warning as political pawns. The behavoiur shown by Al-Qaueda is totally unacceptable but why every year is every country commemorate this issue when millions have passed away without as much as a second thought. Sorry if this post offends anyone but this is my honest belief.
  3. Could never forget I watched it on the enws as I was flying to Hong Kong the same evennig, one thing I will always be surprised at is that I could not see that much extra security at heathrow although the queues were considerably longer...
  4. Surely the moments of silence should be... GMT 1246 Silence marks first plane crash 1303 Silence marks second plane crash 1359 Silence marks first tower collapse 1429 Silence marks second tower collapse
  5. torrent, sometimes the company behind it "rent out" the grid network to other projects (such as smallpox, anthrax research etc). You can change your setting s to only do cancer research work units if you like - it will be in your project home page settings. Even though my reason for doing it is Cancer Research, I tend to leave mine processing whatever units they send me as a - these tend to be short lived campaigns b - they bring money into the organisation who run it, and therefore help fund the cost of the cancer research As long as you sign up on every PC with the same name, then the LOC team will get the points as said read post...
  6. if you work for cancer research get all the guys in the office to sign up as well :D more members for teamlexus...
  7. Well, the peeps in the company who should be building PC's decided that the 25 needed for my project were going to be built y them so guess what I was doing today... To bring this back to topic, I have installed the client and signed it up for teamlexus on each of the 25 machines (also a couple of servers ), so over the next week or so as I roll each one of these machines out that'll be another 25 machines contributing to both cancer research and teamlexus.... We're going to be replacing all of the machines in the office, I wonder if I could sneak the client onto the ghost image :D
  8. OK Guys, the time for the not-so-mini is getting closer could I please have conformation of who is coming to the barley mo in winchfield on sept 28th for 10:30 to 11 and would like bacon butties for breakfast. I haven't got a price for them yet but know they will be reasonable as the landlord is a safe bloke.... plan is to head down to the coast or another suitable venue around 12'ish
  9. and always on the phone... anyone notice if he had the fog lights on ?
  10. loved the scene with muppet written on the wall as he drove past though :) Can't wait to see them rip him to shreds :D :D :D
  11. Ian... You are joking aren't you, when did you do that ?
  12. forget the parts, I want to see the exotic, rare, and convertible sections How do you go about arranging a test drive ?
  13. could be an interesting bargain basement and I wonder what the salvage is like.....
  14. of course as JD is talking theoretically it all depends on what type of car we are talking about here as I am sure none of the LOC would be that silly as to reverse into a concrete post as they all have pensors don't they :D So therefore the answer would depend on which type of vehicle and bumper we are talking about....
  15. now I wonder where that came from Ian ??? Bah, plagarising little shmuck :D
  16. Hee hee, we'll have to get some card copying done I think.... 83% completed, about 7 mill in the bank and *** knows how many cars lying around :D
  17. In the early 90's my father had both an extended 400 and a 400 limo as company cars (both with drivers of course) all I can say is wow :D We were lucky enough to have the first Extended LS400 (extra 13") in the world and it turned heads everywhere we went :D
  18. After you guys left the Nova set the new Silverstone 0-60 record.... 0-60 in 2.83 secs..... Although some classed it as cheating as it had 2 engines driving the thing but still 0-60 in 2.83 secs :o
  19. Sorry peeps, hope this comment wasn't taken the wrong way, agree entirely with Dave, a big hat's off to Zee for taking the car on the strip, not many people with a car with that much effort involved would have done the same (obviously not refering to those with stripped out performance effort).... No matter what the end time was the noise of the car and the way it looked out there turned heads and impressed a lot of people....
  20. And there was me sworn to secrecy :D
