  2. Nice find Rob. That reminds me of a legendary battle we had with one a couple of years ago, trying to make it reliable - absolute knighmare
  3. I don't have one on my car, but my kids love them so Mrs Mark has one on her car. I saw a Rolls Royce a week or so ago with a flag attached to the Silver Lady bonnet mascot - very funny
  4. Now i understand why your lights are on, with only having emergency get you home job done, now wonder thay are flashing, Mark should have told you this may happen, if not only to put your mind to rest :D See you this week mate :D I am sure that if the the lights were on after we done what we needed to do and road tested it, then we would have mentioned it to Raj to put him at ease. Nobody knows why they are on yet so any conjecture is pointless :)
  5. The garage that has/had your car should have the facilities and capabilities to diagnose and cure that for you mate :) It could be somethng to do with not having enough time to finish the job properly last time Raj (only had time for an emergency "get you home" job), or it may be a new issue. Either way I am sure that we can diagnose and rectify the fault when you come in this week :) The FCON ecu's have a "built in" facility to calibrate the FCD function, so a separate voltage clamp is not required :)
  6. I can't believe I missed it. Had been to next doors party - had a few too many and fell asleep at 12.15. Saw all the other fights except for Hughes/Gracie
  7. I believe you have to a licenced by the FSA to be able to legally offer financial advice, but it's fair (and legal) to say that a mixed portfolio is wise precaution to spread your risk. www.myperfectplot.com is a good resource for land in the UK and overseas, and overseas properties.
  8. Looks like great fun Mat - did you enjoy yourself? I think the gearing should be quite well suited for drifting, it's certainly not best suited to drag racing :)
  9. NICKNAMES If Laura, Suzanne, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Suzanne, Kate and Sarah. If Mike, Charlie, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Godzilla, Sh*t-Head and Four-eyes. EATING OUT When the bill arrives, Mike, Charlie, Dave and John will each throw in £20, even though it's only for £32.50. None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back. When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators. MONEY A man will pay £2 for a £1 item he needs. A woman will pay £1 for a £2 item that she doesn't need but it's on sale. BATHROOMS A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel from M&S. The average number of items in the typical woman's bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify more than 20 of these items. ARGUMENTS A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument. CATS Women love cats. Men say they love cats, but when women aren't looking, men kick cats. FUTURE A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband. A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife. SUCCESS A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man. MARRIAGE A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn't. A man marries a woman expecting that she won't change, but she does. DRESSING UP A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the bins, answer the phone, read a book, and get the post. A man will dress up for weddings and funerals. NATURAL Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed. Women somehow deteriorate during the night. OFFSPRING Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favourite foods, secret fears and hopes and dreams. A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY Any married man should forget his mistakes. There's no use in two people remembering the same thing. What a woman says: C'mon...This place is a mess. You and I need to clean. Your trousers are on the floor and you'll have no clothes if we don't do the laundry now. What a man hears: C'MON ... blah, blah, blah YOU AND I blah, blah, blah, blah, blah ON THE FLOOR blah, blah, blah, NO CLOTHES blah, blah, blah, blah, NOW.
  10. Thanks Pip :) So on Sunday evenning it's 24, whatever is replacing Rescue Me, UFC60, sleeeeeeeeep. (No doubt a few bottles of Leffe Blondes will appear in there somewhere too). Happy days :D
  11. What day and time is it on please Pip? Thanks
  12. Good work adie :D Please let me know if we can be of any assistance with this, I would be very proud to be asked to help :D
  13. WOW Sounds like you're really going for it now. Well done Adie :D
  14. It's got to be an MX5 for that budget. It's the only car that's been mentioned that doesn't cost more than the value of the car to repair on a regular basis, and it's great fun.

  17. Hi and welcome :) The standard ecu is not "chipable" but it is possible to have a mapable piggy back ecu such as the Dastek ecu fitted, which will improve performance (and normally fuel economy on the GS300). We have done quite a few now with success. Mark :)
  18. Was supposed to be going but can't - too busy at work - grrrrrrrrrr - gutted!. A couple of my Judo partners are competing - look out for Sam Williams (ranked No8 in the UK) and Tony Smith
  19. Nice one Raj. The RLTC is a marvellous addition to the is200. BTW did you have it installed at Race Logic (just asking because they were asking us for is200 technical info last week)?
  20. We have the Toda Racing lightweight in stock which costs £352.50 including vat. These are stronger than the standard item and considerably lighter to provide better engine response.
  21. Very sorry to hear it Mike Glad you're OK though - that's the main thing. Chin up, time to start again :)
  22. Certainly am :D We are are proud and grateful that you have entrusted the work to us, and delighted that you are happy with it so far. Apart from the other improvements we discussed, it would be worth while letting us map the ecu with 100 octane fuel so that you have a "race day" map that you can select via a swich on the FCON, as we mapped it for 97 octane which is all we can get locally. This will make a big difference too :)
  23. We are in the process of removing a Unichip with the 3D boost module from Keirans (Dark is) car. He may be interested in selling it to you.
