Picked her up at 4.00pm yesterday, Silver on Black and shiny all-over. I think I am in love. Each feature is better than the next: - The satnav is so readable compared to the portable GPS - The bluetooth integrates so easily with the phone - The smooth ride - Walking up and opening the door - The power sunshade in the rear must have gone up and down 20 times :D - The HID lights are soooooo bright - The climate control cool and quiet - The cooled/heated seats so comfortable And believe it or not the pickup was a fantactic experience. The business manager had everything prepared. The salesman gave a very professional overview of the basics, insisted I call him whenever and invited me back in 2 weeks for the second delivery to go over any queries. This is my first Lexus and I am already planning the next one

My advice is to get the same one that is offered by your ISP. That way, any problems and you can call their support. They may also give you a good price :)

I totally disagree. In the three months I have been a member, this is the first time I have seen threads closed. I think the moderators do a good job. I would hate to read through every message like they have to. Without moderators LOC UK would get like the US forums, full of boy racers showing off on public roads. Anyway, the dealer just phoned to ask me to pick up my new IS250 Sport Luxury at 4.00pm tomorrow. So all is great with the world

If the UK is similar to Australia, the waiting list for the IS250 is growing, so demo models are holding their price. What Lexus does in Aus is offers great finance deals - currently 4.9% on demos - rather than discounting. That helps maintain brand value and loyalty amongst early buyers.

On 4/Jan I ordered a Silver/Black IS250 Sport Luxury which I think is the Australian equivalent of the UK SE-L with MM, Auto, PCS/ACS and Sunroof. Today, the Sales Manager advised it is at the Melbourne docks, will be with them on 28/Feb and I should have it with tinted windows on 2/Mar. That's roughly 2 months from order to delivery. They now tell me that 3-4 months is the norm and growing by the week! Thank heavens my darling wife did not convince me to wait for the price to drop as the novelty wore off :duh:

By the look of what's on the bonnet AD s*x would be more appropriate. Apologies for my aussie humour.
