I found both my batterys had gone dead in a similar instance..lol I never checked the spares till it was to late, but if it happend after the service they should prob have a look for you. When I used the key the alarm would still go off it was fustrating..lol

What ever happens, you w8ill find that NU are underobligation to deal with the third party claim. You should also find that if you have comp cover they will deal with your claim accordingly (they may charge the difference between what the cost of the insurance would have been if it was the sport model compared to what you paid). The only time insurance companies won't pay out is if they believe you have deliberatly not disclosed some information. If you do have any issues then feel free to phone me on the number below, and ill try to assist. Quick Update got the new updated insurance through, they have changed it at no extra charge for now so all is good at the moment,thanks for the advice guys..

So I have explained this to them now and if I want to request the tapes I can, I will only do that if I am penalised as the sport is infact one group higher than a S i am told. NU also tell me that I only lose 2yrs no claims so I still have 1year luckily... Will update you on this drama at later time when I have more info, but I believe the chap I spoke to at length has changed my policy details to Sport now, hoping it doesn't effect the claim by the 3rd party.

Would it be better to wait till they paid to the 3rd party before pointing out the change, just incase they say they won't payout? I'm about to lose my no claims so if they don't payout as well I'd be screwed.. I should of checked the details earlier dam it. And just to clarify the S & Sport are differnt things then?

So I currently drive a lexus Sport and have had an acciedent, so the other party are claiming. So far no problems but I took out my documents an read through to see my reg plate has been put next to a Lexus S. Even though clearly on the phone I have stated Sport to Norwich Union and having read here, I assumed the S stood for Sport like the guy who has set it up (at the insurance company). How much trouble am I in if I'm wrong :S luckyily i haven't claimed as I had minor damage, but whats going to happen? Thanks Chris

I have an I Trip(FM) converter for the IPod, but two things bug me sadly. One there illegal over here to have them on, and 2nd is that there not the best quality either mine tends to crackle alot finding a none used frequency is very difficult..lol I think the law is changing, so that you can transmitt as long as it's under 10 metres I hope so, the itrip wouldn't reach another car next to it..lol so I shouldn't see y its illeagal

AFAIK ERR3 is a mechanical problem in changing the CD's. If you got some left over there may be trouble ahead eek, we shall see tomorrow when I fit it back it was broken anyway, maybe i'll just get after market hu and be happy UPDATE: Wednesday, no CD's in there, but it's still coming up with ERR3 is there a way to reset the unit? it won't let me feed a new cd in there. This car is starting to annoy me, with the fact you can't even just buy an ISO cable to set up an after market hu, I can't drive with just the radio any longer it's driving me insane, i suppose the option is to pay stupid amounts to get it fixed or splash out on new wiring for the aftermart hu... very dissappointing only the 3rd month i've had it and not even be able to use the CD player.

thanks Jim, but I have stripped it.. I'm not the best at all when it comes to things like this, but I found you pretty much needed to take all of it apart I just put all the screws back in now (after removing 6 cd's) will put back in the car tomorrow and pray it works (also I had 5 screws left over in my diy style...lol lets hope it still holds together, update tomorrow..) a guide would be a great idea, cuz there must be better ways than what I did..lol

Ok I was very annoyed it's been over 3 months with err3 I've tried everything now..lol other than giving it to sum1 who knows how to fix them.. I have finally built up the courage to remove the whole center unit and the guide supplied on here was perfect. thanks for the help on that... Now the next problem does any1 have a guide to get to the cd's? or how I could add a after market stereo for now.. I have an IS200 sport 99 reg thanks for any help...

It looks differnt to alot you see on IS's, I see alot these done on Corsa's and saxo's, probably didn't come cheap :s you better make sure you like it yourself if your going to spend big bucks on it.... :P Looks smart though...

I don't have a intercooler, didn't take that into account lol.. I do like those sideskirts on there as well Marcus.. ^^the ones you have on already I should of made clear
