I got my clio done there was top notch, shall be taking the lexus there when i save a few pennys...

my is200 was stuck for 2 days on the drive in the snow, trust my drive to be a steep hill as well... It was back to the clio wiv slow and steady wins the race ;)

Well basically i bought a double extension off eBay, cut the end off an attached an 12v in-line fuse. I then took the centre console off and disconnected the cigarette lighter - scotch locked the live feed to the Pink (live) feed on the lighter and used a self tapper to earth it to the body. Thats is basically - took less that 10 minutes. (putting the console back took longer) Nice idea I think I'll have a go at it in a few weeks or so, I so want my ipod hooked up.. Infact while writing this I remember i have an Itrip which i can use. Currently my CD player is broke, so listening to tapes from like 2002...lol

^^lol I hear that, let us know how u get on if u get it. I'm intrested in any cheap options to get my ipod working in there, won't have to rely on the CD player then

Voted Magenta before I saw page 3 with more examples with the logos on, still like the Pink action to make you stand out... But the Green looks like the one that fits the style most, but how many other people there will have the green one for that reason :o Go Magenta

Ok here's the scenario I have to produce 3yrs worth of NCB's which i thought was fine, I have been insured for over 3 yrs. But as I was checking for my documents I found my first insurance only ran for 10 months I called them and asked for a no claims sheet, but beacuse it wasn't a yr apparently they can't send me one... So i thought i had 10 months no claims (so far 10 months) then a new car and I have 1yr clear at least and have the proof. (takes us to 1yr 10 months in my mind) then currently finishing a 18 month thing from Norwich union where they do 9months and class it as a yr ncb. but that still gives me 1yr and 6 months to me what ever way you look at it, I'm going to request those details of NCB today. So the total time insured are 3yrs 4 months legally, can I send my new insurance company all these details and will they accept me adding these 10 months to 18 months and 1yr.. etc??? I need to send this by end of next week, could I be totally in trouble here? Any help is much appreciated guys...

I'll stick to IS200 labelled things(engine wise) to be on safe side, I was just intrested in sum of the body kits aswell I saw over there. Sounds all good though, thanks for the help guys.

Now if only I had money to purchase any of these things..lol First thing to do is get it serviced an MOT'd, but no harm looking at these goodies...

Was surfing the net at work an I keep finding myself on Lexus sites in the US, I've seen bodykits etc.. and Induction Kits, Air Filters that I like but the closest thing I can see on there sights to my IS200 S is the IS300 would the kits or parts fit my car or is it better to stick to the UK and looking for specific IS200 parts? Any feedback welcome thanks... And yes I have been to ProLex and other sites mentioned on here thanks, I was just looking at a broader range...

not sure about disabling it, but the reason it sounds is because of the 6 speed gear-box and the fact that you could put it into 1st accidently (or vice versa). it is useful when you're in a hurry sometimes!!! and yes.....it is a standard feature ← Saved me the other day lol, was sitting at the lights playing with the CD player look up already on green need to hurry quee getting annoyed behind me. Lets put it in gear and speed off, suddenly beep beep...lol Good job it did, save me trouble, but hell it annoys me 2..

I have the classic problem with the CD player as well, apparently theirs a fair few CD's stuck in there but I can't even wiggle anythin around in there as it's locked up but i ran the search topic on here I have a few more ideas to try..thanks again all

Just got it over a week ago, it's 99 IS200 Sport, 85k on clock, not been badly treated I know the previous owner. I gave it a little boot in 1st and something I assume (I'm told throttle) got stuck, even when i tried later in second it got stuck again. I had to brake very badly nearly hitting cars on the first day. I turned the engine off and into neutral when I turned it on again the revs went upto the limiter, tested the accelerator would not stop, hit the brakes, clutch, it kept reving insane, as u can understand this had me a little nervous about booting it ever again, I'm taking it for a service soon. Any ideas what I can tell them to look out for? My friend also poped the hood to look at the engine(sorry I'm really not technical) and he send he had to over wind a spring on the accelerator cable to fix it. Since then it's done it twice more but after restarting the engine 2 or 3 times it fixes itself, still I dare not drive it now.. Please help.. Driving slow and at 2k revs it's fine, but if I wanted that I would of kept my old slow car
