i was on channel 11 but since i've been on channel 1 mines sat at 54mbps :) mine kept dropping to 12mbps and disconecting before i swapped it Does get quite annoying after a bit :(

The cover i've got on at the moment i cut out with an angle grinder, the last cover i made i cut out with a power saw? All depends on what metal you use mate? mines 4mm alloy now and my old one was 1.6MM armour plate You could use something like 1mm polished stainless sheet which would be quite easy to cut and should still hold its shape, or go for a 1mm steel sheet and then spray it :)

Excellant stuff mate, now I can get to the settings why didnt the tech guys at virgin just tell me this stuff? No mate, the original engine covers hold it in place :) Was just looking at the charger and think it'll be a nightmare to plate, so might have a re-think ;)

Just found some black chrome and red chrome plating that i could try Think i might be going a bit too far now :lol:

Yeh might do mate? but quite tempted to get my airbrush out and have a play? I could maybe airbrush the covers and still might have the charger and pipework gold plated? air brushing would look cool you could give your engine cover a 3D look by shading in parts of the rising sun. while the engine covers off couldnt make a template of it please? your engine bay is stunning though!a stunning example. The engine covers pretty easy to make mate, just need a big piece of cardboard and some scissors, put the card ontop of the engine and use the scissors to cut round the bits that stick up! mines only held on by the oil filler cap :) Do you think a 24k gold supercharger and pipework would look any good?

Hi Chris , yes mate i'm hoping 450bhp plus :) , i'm having Wayne at SPC horsham build me a special engine for the turbo setup i'm having , so i will just have to swap engines and cylinder head , know any one who wants my old engine ? :D Will i be ok for another test run when its sorted Dave Again all the best with it mate and look forward to more updates :D

Thanks guys and girls its getting there now B) @ Edeath, cant tell the difference with the noise mate to be honest, but going to make a box so the filter sits in its own area under the intake? @ Stav, its come together pretty good mate, used that carbon fibre filler i've got which bonded very well, and on the bracket end that had broken i've added steel mesh so its a lot stronger and covered it in the carbon filler :) Right whats next

First i'd just like to say a huge thanks to Stav for this part, Thankyou mate :D Had to fix one of the bolt fixing holes when i got it where it had broken off, and fix a bit of damage to the rear where it had caught the sc pully, I then sanded it down with 3000grit paper to remove a few scratches and then coated it with 8 coats of laquer to give it a nice sharp look B) I was trying to figure out how to make one for my lex but dont need to now, so very happy with it :D What you think B)

Mines been going dead at around 7pm over the past couple of weeks? and the past couple of days it dead nearly all the time? Do these newer N version routers put out a better signal?

good to hear its all working. Hope it stays that way mate Must be something to do with the new routers that a few people by me have just had fitted? only started to have problems when 2 of my neighbours had virgin broadband fitted with the newer model router?? My cisco ones normally pretty good even at high speed :)
