  7. I have reported this GS 400 4x4 as stolen to the police. It disappeared from the spare bedroom sometime ago. If anybody sees it on the road please don't wave at its driver, you will only encourage him more. They say they start on small things and work up, I shall be hiding the GS keys in 4 years time:D:D
  8. The logo has clips on the inside which prevent it coming off. These are clips that once pushed on will not come off without causing lots of damage. I would complain to the dealer as he must of left the clips off?:mad:
  9. Shrek £280 for a rear tyre ? I have found a company selling Continentals at £174.30 and Pirelli's PZero at £226.00 all including vat and postage. (275x35x18) They also list local dealers who will fit them for around £5.00 I shall be using the when my 18inch wheels arrive. http://www.mytyres.net
  10. Shrek The answer is simple? Don't drive the GS at slow speeds On a serious note, Never had the Brakes make a noise in the 132,000 miles i have driven in GS's Dave
  11. Steve, Buy a Dog:smilegrin::smilegrin:
  12. Shrek I agree with Rodders, I think you need to change the battery. PS, from memory the pickup for the alarm is on top of the dashboard (looks like small dome) if you point the remote at that you might get a better responnse?
  13. Tony, The car looks great and the article is very good. Its great to see Lexus getting some of attension they deserve, especially one as nice as yours Well done:):)
  14. Elephant's:smilegrin::smilegrin:

  17. Hi Foxbat, I have had three GS's, The first one a 1997 series 1 when i sold it had done 72,000 miles of which I had done 62,000 Only problem was with the alloy wheels paint flaking off. My second a 1999 series 2 I did 42,000 and the only problem was with the alloy wheels which suffered from corrosion. Thrid one has not yet done very many miles under 12k but has already had the wheels changed. In my experience GS's dont go wrong. Except for the alloy wheels :mad:
  18. Here goes starting from the left 1st ? 2nd Steve (Admin) 3rd Chris (Chris Shipley) 4th Tony ( superchargedmorph) 5th Matt (superchargedis200) 6th ? 7th Chris (sporties son) 8th Dave (lexussport) 9th Rob (fluff345657) 10th Les (Shrek) 11th Glen (?) almost got them all?
  19. Steve, I was warned by my dealer not to leave anything metal especially keys in the centre console. This was because it upset the alarm, could this be an answer? This was on a GS but I guess the LS could be a similar setup. Dave
