  1. Rod, Buy a set of TTE wheels, then you won't see your nuts;) Go on bend the plastic:cool:
  2. I have fitted air horns to the GS, got them from Halfords and mounted them behind the grill. They came with a relay and I purchased some decent wire and an hour later it was done. Certainly makes little old ladies jump:(
  3. Unlucky, Sorry to hear about your Lexus. If you end up getting it fixed yourself I know of two scapyards who have IS 200's in and are breaking them up. One is a 00 W auto and the second yard has two a 2000 and a 2002. I have sent you a u2u with the details.
  4. Stevie, I had the panel out in my Mark 1 when I fitted new springs and as far as i can remember you would not gain very much indeed. However it was 2 years ago and my memory is not as good as it was. The panel would stop items hitting the tank and causing damage. There is one tip I can pass on and thats to turn the spare wheel up the other way. Then you can store items in the wheel, I made up a simple plate up so that the wheel was still bolted down and gain some space. Lexussport
  5. Hi Stevie, You will not be able to modify the Mark one boot, as right behind the panel you see sits a huge petrol tank. The Mark two had the petrol tank mounted under the car so giving a larger boot space. Lexussport
  6. Sorry to all those die hard 95/98 fans but 95/98 is pants. I have been using XP pro for 8 months now and its very stable and has never crashed unlike 98SE does. It loads in half the time and was so easy to set up the home network. Makes 98 look like a Micky Mouse OS or should that be Bill Gates OS.
  7. You can buy the tools to get these out, Compaq use them on their PC's and i have bought sets in the past for my engineers. They are a Torx tool with a hole in the middle, I got mine from a tool shop.
  8. Tony, There is a GS 300 in a scrap yard in Birmingham, it's a series 1. Is this what you are looking for or are you looking for a series 2 engine cover?. If its a series one I am happy to go and see it and find out how much they want for it etc :)
  9. Just to balance the odds here I don't bother trying it on with IS's, as it would only end in tears. - Theirs
  10. Tried Mat no one would buy her  I have a plan, I tell her I have seen this great car for her, she loves it , I buy it for her. Then a couple of months later I buy a new Lexus, she can't complain cause she had a new car. works every time. Still costs me dear in the long run, had to buy six cars to get three Lexus's. Come to think of it , it would be cheaper to sell her
  11. Zishan, Now dont laugh, for Lowering springs go to Halfords. I have just bought a set from them for my GS 430 cost £200. They sell the Eibach make which lower it 30mm. You would need to visit a store which has a Ripseed dept (not all have). I even bought mine on Sunday afternoon will be ready Thursday.
  12. Set for sale on e-bay, currently £178.00 but not yet met the reserve. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...item=1354012632
