  1. They operate under a Franchise method so the guy that came to me lived just down the road. Their Website will enable you to find out if they cover your area. www.chipsaway.co.uk I've used them 3 times with excellent results.:D
  2. I always knew I was MAD, now I have the results to prove it:cool:
  3. its not just the IS's that suffer with chips, my old GS bonnet was covered in them. The new GS has about 15/20 since xmas eve, i had Chips Away out last week to repair one the size of a pea on the front wheel arch. Cost £35 but they did an excellent job respraying the area after filling the chip hole with filler. My series one GS had less chips after 74,000 miles than this new one after 3 months. I guess thay must have changed the paint?
  4. lots of good quality pictures on the www.lexus.co.uk website under GS / gallery:)
  5. I lowered my GS 300 by fitting Lexus sport springs. This lowered it 25mm and as they were stiffer the ride was then harder. I later found out from a friend that there are compamies that can alter your orginal springs to lower the car without making them stiffer. In that way you can the looks without loss of comfort.
  6. I cannot believe what you are all paying for insurance....... Liverpool and Victoria 01202 752007 FC Wifey and Me £386 GS 430 SE:D
  7. The map idea could be fun, I could then program the address's into the Sat Nav and tell it to bleep when I get close to a member.......
  8. Blueyonder is from Telewest 512k cable direct to house always on etc etc
  9. Still to much , I use Blueyonder Broadband at £25.00 pm.
  10. When I had a GS 300 Mk1 1997, I managed to buy a secondhand pair of sport wheels 8.5x18 front 10x18 rears. These were made by a german company and sold by TTE (the one's as shown before.) You can by then from Lexus but the cost is close to £1800 plus £1400 for tyres. I did manage to by some in autotrader mag for £1000 with tyres. I have found a company in Essex which can sell me the wheels for £1100. I am waiting for the tyres to wear out on my GS430 and will be replacing them with the TTE wheels. For me nothing else comes close Lexussport GS430
