i would think the system is basically the same as is fitted in the IS Models so, the system will be an active system,basicaly everything is controlled by the AMP,even the audio controls are if the amp is removed you will no longer be able to use the head unit.....bizzare i know.........so this is where the frequency splitter(crossover) is also located...................................and where is this you ask......i would think behind the dash,the best place to look first is the back of the glove box,after that .......i will find out to recap,if you want to upgrade only the speakers of this system it would be better to get LLC(line level converters) plugged into the original speaker wires these signals then would be good enough to power an amp(if you use the wires dirrectly to the amp you will fry it otherwise its better to rip the whole lot out and start afresh mat:saint:

due to my "contact " i can get all the prices from TTE for there products,i can sort a way of getting the stuff cheaper but i need to talk of post about this eg of prices(in dm) front bumper(painted)...............858.61 coilover dampers/springs...........2397.85 anti roll bars..............................868.39 these prices include german tax,but not delivery,the price of delivery will add to the price but i can get the parts initially cheaper

the supercharger boosts to a measily 0.3 bar the wastgate is a spring loaded gate mechanicaly linked to the throttle via a cable as you put your foot down it closes the wastgate,as you let of the spring snaps open the gate assisted by the sudden build up of pressure, sounds complicated but a very simple device of gates and springs within the s/c inlet [Edited on 21-3-2002 by superchargedIS200]

i cannot vouch for other companys brands,however some time in the future i will be fitting HKS coilovers,there a bit pricey but you can never go wrong with HKS,TTE stuff is also good quality its fully TUV approved .........so yep its good stuff

dboey,can you post a pic of your engine bay with the s/c installed showing the filter,or is the filter in the TTE airbox..........im looking at building my own induction pipeing to the s/c therefore doing away with the TTE airbox

there are non,however i think that TRD do do a replacement filter for the IS200,same construction as the standered,but higher flow
