  2. Will be going to Horwich (Bolton Stadium) to watch Amir Khan and Michael Jennings, plus a few more on 2nd Sept. Anyone else going to be there?
  3. Just wondering how many of us have chrome alloys on their car. I'm only aware of myself and 'pimp-meister' maneesh. Anyone else?
  4. of a stereo which accepts an optical or digital audio line in? Installing a carputer but want to maintain a pure signal all the way through. linky want something like this, but with the line in too. cheers, sam.
  5. Does any of this sound true? Car colours.
  6. Good links, cheers - guess I was wrong - only £49 for replacement battery and fitting at an authorised Apple store. There may be life in my 1st gen pod yet.... This place is a lot cheaper, if you fancy a bit of diy! ipod doctor Hardest part is prying open the case, but once you've got a gap its easy. Just disconnect the battery plug and swap with the new 1, and Robert's your dad's brother! :D
  7. Alrite fella, check these links out. link 1 link2 I know of a couple of places where you can get the batteries cheapish but you will have to insert them yourself. Quite easy though! (Depending which ipod you have :P )
  8. is it your black IS i've seen round loughborough....that one has a plate which reads something like MI LEXX and has chromes and tints also Yep, but no longer in pork pie land! :P
  9. I thought Mr T weren't gonna be in new rocky film. I think he turned sly down, cos not enough money. Apparently Sly Stallone only offered him 10 grand for it. Not even enough to buy a new lexus! :o
  10. Normally MI LEXX, but at the moment its back to m11 exx as cops don't appreciate a blacked out IS on chromes with an "ahem" illegal plate. :duh:
  11. Hmmm, wonder where i can get one of these from? :o
  12. I've got the belkin 1 too, which works fine for me. But then again, i use it for my ibook. Thats apple for ya! :P My mate's got a d-link 1 which works fine for him on windows, and he links it to his o2 xda exec.
  13. Me too. Is200, front and back please. Wouldn't mind pads either.
  14. Ha ha ha! Do us a favour and say one for my boss! :winky:
  15. You need two hard drives or your existing one splitting into two partitions (pretend drives) ie C becomes C and D. Windows 98 stays on C and you install Windows 2000 or XP on D. The processor and memory requirements specified by the evil empire are: Windows 2000 - 133MHz processor, 64Mb memory, 2Gb disk space, Windows XP - 233MHz, 64Mb memory, 1.5Gb disk space. I'm guessing in real life higher spec would be useful though I've not run 2000 or XP on anything less than 450MHz processor with 128Mb ram so I can't say for sure. They work ok with the specs that I've tried. If your turning your system into a dual-boot one that it might be useful to find a computer geek friend to help you sort it out. If you don't have the spec thats needed then upgrading memory is easy/cheap and so is hard disk. You can perhaps upgrade the processor a bit within the limits of the motherboard, after that you upgrade the motherboard too but then you start getting into the realms of everything else getting left behind and benefiting from an upgrade eg graphics card etc. Blimey, sounds like hard work even for meself! :duh: Get a mac mini! Here's why!! :P :P
  16. Wey aye man! I knew i recognised it, cos its on your avatar. Where you got your interview? Good luck matey! Long way to travel every morning, although the m58 is a nice flat and straight drive. :winky:
  17. Ok, the best deal i could find was this one - linky- but only has 3 months warranty. :o The iriver 120 is basically the same, just doesn't have a colour screen, but still good. If you can't find a decent deal, go for 1 of them. Or, the next best to go for are either iAudio M5 or iAudio X5 which is slightly more than your budget, but you do get a year warranty. Or, take the plunge and buy an apple mac, and then buy an ipod!
  18. Only problem there is you might struggle locking your car :shutit: Yeah, i thought that, but i'm sure with enough of us there, should be easy enough to push the car elsewhere. Prob 1st time a lex would need a push. Anyway, with a few of us going, prob have to park a bit away, as car parks are always full close by. So, anyone up for it?
  19. Hi, just my two pence's worth. generally don't stray too far from the apple brand, but my mate has 1 of these, and if i didn't have an ipod, then prob get summat like this. iRiver H320 Its got 20gb which is more than you want, but bigger is always better lol! :winky: Plus it comes with ac adaptor and will work on win98 se. Just make sure you use your own headphones. And i'm sure you could prob get it cheaper. Hope this helps. Sam :D
  20. Anything happening with this NW meet? Think us Northerners should show them Southerners how its done! :P Noticed that a few people discussing the trafford centre so how about there? It's open till late. And they got a nando's there too!
  21. Ahh, the first to be blitzed by Simmo's boys! Don't forget to bring your hanky to cry into :P
  22. Seen going down Stanley St towards London Rd on Sunday. Reg was SOOTY or summat like that. The 2nd is200 i've seen modded in Preston in the past year or so. I was in the blacked out IS with the chromes. I think you were looking, but prob didn't see me nod because of the tints.
  23. Don't forget to transfer the music from the harddrive to the itunes library 1st :winky:
