  1. If someone can draft a letter, that would be great! in the mean while, we can open a new thread to gather all names etc
  2. I think we should do it, also they allow it they shouldn't charge us for it! Lexus Leicester wanted £95 per hour to re-program it.
  3. The missus has a fully load 807 with the 2.2 hdi engine. Not as quiet as the Lexus BUT compared to my IS220d SE: * No rattles whatsoever. * Auto sensing wipers. * A navigation system which allows the passenger to enter/change destinations on the move. * Full access to radio and CD text on the move. * Integrated phone system that will also read out received text messages. * Full access to the phone on the move. * Voice activation that actually seems to understand me :D * Audio/video inputs in the glove box. * Headlamps stay on when you arrive home and go off after 60 secs (programmable) * Auto fold wing mirrors when you lock the car/start the engine. * Air conditioned cup holders !! Keeps the drinks cool in the summer. * Last 10,000 service cost £41.00 AND they washed, hoovered, picked up and dropped off the car. The pug cost £19,000 ex demo. If Peugeot can do some of this stuff on a bog standard family people carried then I'm sure Lexus can bend a bit. Amen to that, i agree with you 100%. its not right.
  4. I meant 'per hour' anyway, i got the double pressing of the boot button to open the boot done. the delayed headlamp can not be done nor can the anti-carjacking ....be done when shifting from p to another gear!!
  5. lexus quoted me £95 per hour, just to personalised the settings... they said they need to -set it -configure it -test it? £95 for that?! they can kiss my brown *****
  6. My grandad has a 220d reg in march 06, ive only ever seen it return 35mpg...
  7. Unless the cameras are detected using "POI" as on TOM TOM Mobile
  8. i would like the headlamp delay and automatic lock/unlock when shifting to and from P.
  9. I agree, my renault laguna was able to allow the mirrors to fold in without the ignition being on ON or ACC, its a pain when you switch off the car then realise to close the mirror! Auto lock after reaching a certain MPH. Child locking should be remote instead of going to each door!! headlamp delay
  10. They aint HID, theyre just bulbs filled with xenon gas. HID kits start from around £100-£120 which come with a ballast..unless you got a really good deal? What's the difference between HIDs and the ones i have? (obviously mine aren't HIDs) :o That's a bit expensive though just to see where you are going don't you think?. The bulbs i have still look much better than standard ones (nice blue colour especially when the sidelights are on). High Intensity Discharge bulbs, in other words Xenon. Not only "to see where you are going" but it turns heads, 8000k is hot!

  13. collected the vehicle today from lexus leicester, a lil mix up with the tax disc registration mark, because of this they sent us to a nice place for lunch..! anyway, lip fitted looks the doggys do do...
  14. ideally not good news, i mean will the same quality of workmen ship into the car be given in the UK?
  15. Come on you 56'ers...where the pictures at? Picking mine up tomorrow:D
  16. Dealerships used to open until midnight to allow owners to collect & drive away there new car with new reg mark, they dont do that now becuase doing it "twice a year" is too much.
