    BTW any tips on the over use of scratch remover? I push in too deep and its slightly less shiny in that area, looks dull now and stands out and bit lighter

    yup, on my 250se they just added hooks...on the is220d se they fitted a brand new driver rubber mat

    All I did (back in Aug 06), ordered it from Sewell Lexus Texas, $179.99 for the lip (painted) $138 for shipping (i didnt want to wait another week for it!....so i wanted it all ready for the handover) handed it over to lexus leicester who sorted it out for me.

    Intrusion Menu >CAR IS LOCKED >>UNLOCK CAR (DO NOT PRESS START) >>>PRESS THE ON/OFF ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE JUST BELOW THE STEERING WHEEL The instrument dimmer if you keep it on max. light without it clicking...the nav screen/instruments will automatically dim during the night (after the auto lights are on) however if its clicked (max light) then i find it doesnt dim at night automatically.

    My 220D went for service today, after service I found that: -Front rubber mat replaced for brand new one with hooks -full tank diesel -2 bottle of whine (1red,1white) -rather goood i sayy!!

    I was at the dealer just yesterday, and I was look at the SEL model, (while I was waiting for a quote on service) I notice you can see the wirer to power the auto rain senor/auto dimming wire? is this true on all?

    I totally agree there, thats the exact reason why I didnt go for the SE-L. I just went for the 220d for better fuel consumption and no matter how bad people say it is on here im getting more mpg in comparison to my last car (however i do also drive slightly different) Same as, seems to be too shiney!.. Although, the HIDS would be nice to have along with the lighted door sills and auto rain wipers. ( the only thing i wont like is the wire showing on the rear view mirror!!)
