yeah would be alot easier to wire it in to the tail lamps!! but easy to get the shelf out!!

probably has as some point. most cars have nowadays. but the shuts arent as bad in real life. must just be the angle or light. i undone the wing slightly too when i done the lights so may have moved before i done them back up. yeah what is the bulb code or a link on ebay for some silver indicator bulbs?

have you got a link for the better freeview boxes for the car? ive already got a cheapy one and i bought an uprated screen mounted ariel but it still cuts out when i drive. also manesh, get urself a reverse camera. everyone loves that when they get in my car!! cool little gimmick!! and personally id go for the kenwood for the brand and quality but a friend of mine got a headunit off ebay and it is simply the nuts. it has everything u want and more, even has the sat nav built in!!! cant think of the name but i can find out if u want? think it cost him about £150

yeah i probably could buy the cheaper hid style lights but it wouldnt be proper. well at the moment the lights are way up in the air!! and i cant really say about the beam, im going to get them adjusted at an mot garage tomorow so there half legal, and also find out if they will pass an mot., it did look like they were illuminating the hedge on the opposite side of the road when i did drive it last night. but i cant really tell till they have been brought down out the sky!! lol i did try and take a pic last night of the angel eyes but the camera i have isnt that great for night time shots. to be honest its like fitting a normal set of is200 lights but u have to cut out the inner wing. ul know where to cut when your in the position of fitting. just dont cut out the outer flap that is right on the edge of the wing. the is300 lights still use the hole to locate into position!

it wasnt too much hassle to sort the wing. just had to cut out both mounting points for the 200 lights. i tried to get a pic but the angel eyes and the 3 led lights are too bright for my camera (sony phone camera). how do u mean upgraded? the onlt thing u can change is the bulbs in the main and dipped beam and the indicator bulbs. anyone who considers buying these lights. please take in to consideration the extra work and money these involve. these are not direct fit and u also have to purchase a seperate hid kit.

they take h1 bulbs in the dipped beam and h7 in the main beam. ordered a set of each. il see how they perform when i flash the lights to see wether il keep them. cheers i think they do too. just got to wait for the kit to come thru and then il have all lights working again, oh apart from the second indicator that is in the headlight. bit wierd that it takes 2 bulbs for the indicator. need to get a plug to wire it up tho.

yeah just ordered the kit off of ebay. come to just under £40. bet its a crap kit for that price but least il have main beam again. its surprising how many times you need to flash ur headlights. will probably get a kit for the dipped beam too.

right. just to clear the matter up about is300 headlights on an is200. they do fit but you have to cut the inner wing out. just the piece of metal that the 2 mounting points for the 200 lights bolt onto. im not sure about standard is300 lights tho as these are aftermarket that i have fitted. the problem i have now with the aftermarket lights is that i now dont have a main beam due to them being hid. and my original lights arent and i dont have the ballasts to run them. i need to buy an hid kit to fit into the projectors.

theres 3 led's for the sidelights, and then theres the angel eyes which you can wire into the sidelights or on a seperate switch. yeah i knew these probably wouldnt pass an mot but il have a seperate set of lights to put in for mot time. has anyone got a link for an ebay auction for an hid kit that would fit ththese lights? il try and post up a pic later of the bulb thats in there.

right well these lights certainly arent direct fit!! i had to cut out the mounting points in the wing. and also he supply's hid bulbs but no ballasts to go with them!! so u have to buy a seperate hid kit to fit into these!! assuming these have the same bulbs as the is300. what type of bulb fitment would i need for the hid?

haha. how wierd is that. i got both the things he wants. shame im not really in to the coupe m3. just the cab.

yeah i had a little search and have seen the comments about them not being road legal. il get another spare set of lights for mot time. if thats all that needs doing then il get them fitted. il take pictures and do a little "how to" if people want me too. i must admit i do like a little bit of a challenge at times. now isnt the greatest as ive just started the footings on my workshop so pretty busy as it goes!! lol the seller has agreed to give me a partial refund but hasnt told me an exact amount. reckon he is going to change the title now. it annoys me when seller dont have any knowledge on the products they sell. cheers mat! neil

well after purchasing a set of the lights from ebay (the hid angel eye projectors), ihave decided im going to fit them to my is200. ive had the lights out on my car and it appears the lower fixing behind the indicator hits against the mounting point for the 200 lights. is this the only issue i will have when fitting them? im going to cut out the metal on the inner wing for the lower mounting point but i dont want to cut that out to find that i have to take lots more metal out in other places too. cheers neil

i bought the new headlights from ebay. if u are after the black headlights i currently have on the car then they will be up for sale in the near future when the issue has been resolved with the seller of the new headlights.

well what an arse. i didnt realise these were for the is300. says on the ebay add is200. i really dont want to cut my wing to fit these. just emailed the guy to confirm they are for the 300. im going to ask him for some money back as it doesnt say in the add for the 300. going to put my original lights back in and wait for the reply. most ****** off now!!!! rant over!! headlights do look nice tho.

must admit i dont always take the lexus to work. alot of the time im in my corsa. hell of alot cheaper to run.

what are the chances of this!! was waiting outside blockbusters at 11.40pm watching tv in the lexus. horrendous queue to get in. 2 guys come up to me and start asking me about my car. turns out he had one parked across the street, same as mine but with a tte kit on it. (didnt even notice it at first). was chatting for 20mins and we was talking about the game. and he thought i was waiting for someone in the queue. told him i was just going to tag on the end and wait for everyone to get theres. he said no dont be silly, and to join his mate at the front of the queue!! walked straight in with them and got the game within a few minutes!! result!! anyway that was my little story. sorry to bore you!! lol i thought it was cool tho!! game is wicked too!! me and my mate were on live!! we took turns in driving and the other one shooting pedestrians out the window!!

i purchased them today!! thought they look sweet and i had to have them!! my black headlights are going to be up for grabs soon then!!

yeah a friend of mine purchased a 110v polisher from autopia. then a few months after i bought the meguiars polisher. pretty much the same polisher but mine has a longer lead on it and i dont need a transformer!! oh and i think mine was a little cheaper too. i must admit i havent really used it. i polished the front wing on my corsa but thats about it. once the garage is built il get the cars in and give them a good going over!!

yeah calipers look cool. wish id done mine with a shiny paint. mine are a matt finish. not sure about the horns tho. they look ok but i dont know if id do it. i took mine off and moved them down behind the crash bar!
